I Love This Season! (Contest)
Christmas is coming around fast and I have only one rule - I DO NOT GO TO THE MALL AFTER DECEMBER 1st! Why not? Because little old ladies will kick your butt in the mall if you snatch that last goody off the shelf! Just kidding - I actually love this season, though I've seen a few grey haired scuffles in my day...and my mother-in-law, who is a cool 74 years old, always wins!
One of my favorite things about the holiday season is music. I especially love the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. My favorite song is Christmas in Sarajevo.

This song just makes me feel all...Christmas-sy (I know it ain't a word, but you know what I mean) inside. Not to mention the guys who play the guitars aren't bad lookin' - You just can't beat talent AND good looks!

I always love the classic song "jingle bells"
Bing Crosby's White Christmas. I love that song.
I love hearing my kids sing Rudolph the red nose reindeer.
The song called "Christmas Shoes" always remind me what Christmas is all about and always gets me teary-eyed when I hear it.

Mine is "Santa Baby" - there's something so deliciously wicked about this song in a season otherwise filled with innocent sweetness!
I tend to like the more religious ones like Oh Holy Night but I also love Jingle Bells and Deck the Halls

Actually, Yolanda Adams is one of my favorite vocalists. I can sing ya'll, and if I sound like anyone, it's pretty close to her.

My favorite is one I learned in Glee Club in elementary school: The Twelve Days After Christmas. It's twisted, it's funny, and it never fails to make me smile!
Singing it now... "The first day after Christmas, my true love and I had a fight. And so I chopped the pear tree down, and burned it just for spite..."

My favorite Christmas song is White Christmas. I love snow especially at Christmas and this song always makes me feel Christmas-sy. Don't know why but whenever I hear that song or watch the movie it always brings a tear to my eye. Maybe because it makes me think of Christmases gone by.
White Christmas. Hearing the song brings to mind the snow, fun and good wishes that I associate with Christmas.
I love anything by Trans Siberian Orchestra, the Albums Rose of Bethleham by Selah, and All the Way to Bethleham by Ken Medema, and I just found this site last night. It was so perfect, I found myself crying.
